How are friendships made? Sometimes a random event will bring people together and makes them immediately feel like they've known one another for years. This happened to us with Katerina and Manos, who since their first visit to our studio, we felt like they have always been coming in. This was our first assignment from them, followed by us shooting their wedding day and the baptisms of both their girls.

Πώς φτιάχνονται οι φιλίες; Κάποιες φορές ένα τυχαίο γεγονός φέρνει κοντά ανθρώπους που νιώθουν να γνωρίζονται χρόνια. Αυτό μας συνέβη με την Κατερίνα και το Μάνο, που από όταν μας επισκέφτηκαν πρώτη φορά στο στούντιό μας, είναι σαν να μην έφυγαν ποτέ. Η φωτογράφιση αυτή ήταν η πρώτη που αναλάβαμε για την Κατερίνα και το Μάνο, ακολούθησε ο γάμος τους και οι βαφτίσεις των δύο κοριτσιών τους.

On this occasion, we spent a beautiful Sunday morning in Zappeion and the National Gardens with them, walking every corner of the endless paths. We had already agreed on the ambience and aesthetics they were looking for in their images and what they both wanted the collection to reflect.

Κυριακή πρωί στο Ζάππειο και τον Εθνικό Κήπο, ανακαλύψαμε μαζί κάθε γωνία και περπατήσαμε στους ατελείωτους κήπους. Είχαμε συζητήσει την ατμόσφαιρα των εικόνων και τη vintage αισθητική που θέλαμε να αποδώσουμε και νιώθαμε ότι μας εμπιστεύονταν απόλυτα.

With a strong feeling of trust among us already established, every image we captured on that day has been full of love, color and joy. This was a plain reminder that the best recipe for success in beautiful imagery is always allowing good chemistry between subject and photographer to take over.

Κάθε εικόνα που συνθέσαμε εκείνη τη μέρα ήταν γεμάτη αγάπη, χρώμα και χαρά. Αυτή η φωτογράφιση πάντα μας θυμίζει ότι το πρώτο μυστικό επιτυχίας για κάθε εικόνα είναι η χημεία μεταξύ των ανθρώπων και του φωτογράφου τους.
