Every year, Christmas day weddings come and do stay with us, in our hearts. Vasia herself made the initial contact to meet with us and arrange for the details of the photography on her wedding day with Kostas. Later when they both visited our studio they shared all their enthusiasm about the festive wedding they were planning. The old Byzantine church of Agios Nikolaos Ragavas is the kind of church one must not fail to visit once in Plaka. It was built in the 11th century AD and stepping inside, you instantly feel being part of history.

Κάθε χρόνο οι χριστουγεννιάτικοι γάμοι που φωτογραφίζουμε μένουν στην καρδιά μας. Η Βάσια μας τηλεφώνησε πρώτα για να γνωριστούμε και να συζητήσουμε για το γάμο της με τον Κώστα. Έπειτα μας επισκέφθηκαν μαζί και μας μετέδωσαν την ανυπομονησία για την ιδιαίτερη και γιορτινή τελετή που ετοίμαζαν. Ο βυζαντινός ναός του Αγίου Νικολάου Ραγκαβά στην Πλάκα που επέλεξαν, είναι ο ναός που δεν μπορείς να μην επισκεφθείς όταν περνάς απ'έξω. Νιώθεις παντού γύρω σου την ιστορία του καθώς είναι χτισμένος τον 11ο αιώνα μ.Χ.

The burgundy shades that Vasia and Costas chose to decorate the chapel with, the bride’s bouquet of flowers and the handmade bonbonnieres added to the authenticity of that wedding. After the ceremony was concluded indoors, the beautifully lit courtyard of the church provided the perfect setting for a wonderful photo session of the newlywed couple.

Το μπορντώ χρώμα που διάλεξαν η Βάσια και ο Κώστας να διακοσμήσει το γάμο τους κυριαρχούσε στο στολισμό, την ανθοδέσμη και στις μοναδικές χειροποίητες μπομπονιέρες τους. Το υπέροχα φωτισμένο προαύλιο του ναού ήταν το σκηνικό που φιλοξένησε τη φωτογράφιση του ζευγαριού μετά την τελετή.

Warm, festive, full of color and smiles, the Christmas wedding of Vasia and Kostas was truly unique. Full of genuine moments, a friendly mood and loads of fun, it kept us warm throughout that chilly December evening.

Ζεστός, γεμάτος χρώμα και χαμόγελα, ο χριστουγεννιάτικος γάμος της Βάσιας και του Κώστα ήταν μοναδικός. Γεμάτος αυθεντικές στιγμές, παρείστικη διάθεση και πολύ κέφι που ζέσταινε το κρύο βράδυ που πραγματοποιήθηκε η τελετή.
